I am the 50 some%! I make a descent salary and by all accounts have one of the best jobs while others struggle to keep from being evicted from their houses and having to live on the streets. I currently suffer no such realities. But I sympathize. I too have high student debt and both my wife and I are not immune to the recession. If the two political parties can not come to a consensus on how to fix the economy than I am not far from being an Occupy Wall Street Protester.

I am just not sure which drum circle of the protest movement I would join. I do not see the need for complete overhaul as practical. By getting involved in such epic battles institutions get elevated to points of caricature and our political battles get mired in ideological struggle. I would rather modify the system by instituting new legislation and laws.

I see the people of the Occupy Wall Street movement as those angry at injustice, inequality, politics and our ongoing wars. Those are lofty topics. I want to see Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and all those alike brought to justice. I want Billions of American dollars to stop pouring into foreign economies while people here can't eat, get a solid education or pay for health care. These are things worth tackling or at least bringing attention to and forcing our politicians to demand meaningful solutions.

Being marked as a wall street protester might philosophically label me as someone who rejects capitalism. The idea that at least in theory one uses their talents to the fullest and by doing can accomplish the "American Dream." Though capitalism has its flaws I am not ready to fully reject it.

Being in the 50th percentile makes it hard to jump in head first for complete overhaul but does not mean not fighting from the periphery for moderate ideals. I think most peoples group lies in subset of America who still believes in capitalism and is not the 99%. Those on the fringe of losing health care and their jobs if the economy turns downward but find their solace in their private quarters on the internet for now.

We're not in court and we never will be. It's been more than a year with no charges filed, which is fine. (These days, we expect a videotape of the encounter before the law gets involved.) This is the court of public opinion-- anonymous online opinion, at that.
"Innocent until proven guilty" is a standard from criminal law that we use when we're taking away someone's freedom. We ought to have a much lower standard for social disapproval, which is what the post talks about. If we were willing to shame anyone we suspect of inappropriate sexual advances, we would nip a lot of these behaviors in the bud. Maybe we wouldn't need as many rape trials.
Of course, same rules apply to Lisa's comment: she gets to use derisive quotes around the word "thoughts" and assume the Senorita doesn't know anyone involved and if that's enough to change someone's opinion, then so be it. But when it comes to what goes on when two people are alone, I for one don't know any man well enough to be sure he's blameless, nor any woman well enough to be sure she's lying.

I know Alex and the accuser and you should not judge him. If you are concerned for the judicial system you would understand innocent until proven guilty! Do you know him or the person accusing him? Or any other details for that matter? If you do not maybe you should think before expressing your uninformed "thoughts".

Revenge isn't an issue with me.
I HATE INIQUITY

I'm drawn to it in severe aggression.

let me address this issue i have with the Manager of Marble Brewery slipping ROOFIES into my beer all those years ago...keep in mind that an apology won't make me stop being angry.

...Adam and Eve (with a little encouragement) each took a bite of the TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL.

In the bible it sayd that they immediately knew they were naked and hid but that's not what happened (for the purpose of association and a good story with a valid point).

Adam and Eve both ate from the tree they were told not too and heard God approaching. They they covered their privates as children hide things when they are afraid that they have done something wrong. God asked why they were hiding and Adam come up with a LIE. "Because we are naked." Adam was the one to name the animals so "NAKED" was a good word for him to use to lie to God with.

There was only one sin that Adam and Eve could have made. There is only one thing that God had told them not to do. "NAKED, YU'VE BEEN NAKED...YU ATE OF THE TREE I TOLD YOU NOT TO DIDN'T YOU?"

When I was a kid I was barely behaved under the supervision of my parent...a complete monster at school...and the wurst of the wurst when I was off by myself alone.

I had always said "IM SUCH A GOOD GUY...I NEVER EVER LIE OR STEAL...MAYBE ONCE OR TWICE...MY PARENT IS CRAZY, IMPERFECT, MEAN...I KNOW WHAT IM DOING."

I was always getting spankings for lies...at least a thousand of them and always for the same thing...i did something i knew was wrong (cause i culdn't help it) and then i would lie to avoid getting a punishment.

RYAN is a fat fukk. Apologies won't help me not to be angry with him. But I think if he (we) could stop hiding and stop doing things we know we might get into trouble for later (HOLD OURSELVES ACCOUNTABLE FOR OUR ACTIONS)

I will no longer be drawn to him and i will cease to bother him and everyone else involved.

I have my own issues with my own iniquity and i can see that i culd possibly hate myself for not being able to not make mistakes.

RYAN STAUDHAMMER IS AND HAS ALWAYS (ASK HIS PARENTS KARL AND JOSIE) HAD ISSUES WITH DENIAL.

I consider it a favor to his parents and to him to ask him to not be so hard on himself and allow himself to make mistakes.

I SWEAR THAT HE IS ONLY A FAT FUKK BECAUSE HE IS IN PAIN AND FEAR...It causes him to be SUPER-FAT!

I DON'T EXPECT HIM NOT TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES OVER AND OVER AGAIN (the wurst part of iniquity is that it's hard to get rid of because you have to acknoweldge it and that is something easier said than done) IF HE DOESN'T ADMIT THAT HE MAKES MISTAKES IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Quit hating on yourself and allow yurself to make mistakes...OR...keep lying to yourself and on top of being INIQUITOUS be DELUDED too (Ryan's MAJOR PROBLEM).

Make sure Mr. Staudhammer doesn't slip any roofies an anyone's drinks.

A pleasant fellow but one who has issues with denial and truth telling (same as any child who has done something wrong and covers it up)

A person can't find the truth if they aren't looking it (or don't know how to look for it)

Ryan Staudhammer and his friend Johnny Carson slipped roofies into my drink when we used to live with each other.

I'm not all that much upset about it except the person Ryan got the roofies from sells them to football players in PULLMAN, WA.

I'm surprised MARBLE BREWERY tolerates DATE RAPISTS.

oh well...as long as he doesn't do it again I guess.
